Anuvridhi is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities across India and advancing sustainable development, particularly in rural regions. The organization works to improve the social, economic, and health conditions of vulnerable populations by creating meaningful opportunities for long-term growth and self-reliance.

At the heart of Anuvridhi’s work is the promotion of sustainable livelihoods. Through micro-enterprise support, skill development, and community-based training, the organization helps individuals build stable sources of income and improve their quality of life. By working closely with local communities, Anuvridhi identifies real needs and designs practical, impact-driven solutions.

Anuvridhi also fosters collective empowerment by encouraging the formation of community groups that advocate for their rights and access essential resources. The organization strengthens community resilience by improving access to critical services such as healthcare, education, and environmental support.

Our Ambition

The world is aiming to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. They cover a broad range of interconnected issues, from economic growth to social issues to global public goods. India is ranked low on global development indices, and will be an important factor in achieving many of these global goals. Meeting this challenge demands a strong partnership among government, the private sector, and development organisations. In 2022, Anuvridhi charted out a road map to multiply our impact. Our energies today focus on bringing about multi-dimensional results through comprehensive empowerment of people in the poorest pockets of the country. By 2025, we plan to reach 10 million people across 12,500 villages in 7 states of North India where we operate. Our work is aligned closely with six of the 17 SDGs, and will be a significant contribution to the national commitment and aspiration. Our ambitions around each of the seven global goals are described below:
